I m in a very sad state..anyone help me out.plzzzzz?

i passed out my 12th from isc board with 88% overall and 80% in PCM...but i score only 88 marks out of 432 in IITJEE...i dont know what to do right now..my basic concepts are clear but it is just that i am not being able to aplly them in the exam time..so i m joining brilliant tutorials for IITJE 2012 preparation..i personally feel that i can make it..but do u feel is it the right choice to drop a y ear and prepare for IITJEE??
